I am a Canadian who has lived in China for over 25 years; I travel often, and gladly, to Tibet.
It seems a shame not to share my long and visual experience with others. I have not enjoyed the time to read and reflect; rather I have traveled and visited extensively.
Herein are my views on one special aspect of what I have seen and experienced. What I see has been tempered and interpreted by my earlier years - I graduated from the Royal Military College, Kingston, Ontario, Canada (see sweatshirt in above photo!) and had a 30-year career in the Canadian Army. My final overseas tour was as Military Attache at the Canadian Embassy in Beijing, China, from 1989 to 1991. I then retired and returned to China.
