Nicely etched eating set found in Choni, Gansu province, home of the xxyy monastery where Joseph Rock lived for several years in the early 20th century.
Scabbard scrolled with four-claw imperial dragon etched into bronze and yak bone scabbard holding two ivory chopsticks.
Knife has single fuller either side. Ivory handle etched with lotus design and topped with bronze cap.
